Parts Advisor Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire Hours: Full-Time (39 hours per week- Saturdays on a rota) Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join my clients friendly and established team at the Steveange area, based in Hertfordshire. Role Purpose: Reporting directly to the Parts & Retail Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting both customers and technicians with their machinery parts requirements. You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by processing and dispatching orders, managing stock enquiries, and ensuring customers receive the correct parts and advice, whether in person, over the phone, or via email. Key Responsibilities: Assist customers and colleagues with parts queries and orders Provide product and service information in a professional and helpful manner Process transactions accurately, including cash and card payments Maintain excellent product knowledge across agricultural, construction, and horticultural ranges Support the smooth day-to-day running of the parts department Contribute to the overall sales and performance targets of the branchSkills & Experience Required: Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone Strong customer service skills and a polite, professional manner Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role, agricultural, construction, horticultural, or motor industry experience desirable Confident working in a retail or showroom environment Strong computer literacy and good numeracy/literacy skills Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods Team player with the ability to use initiative Smart, presentable appearance and a positive attitudeBenefits: 32 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Company Sick Pay Scheme Workplace Pension Winter Flu Jab Service Staff Discounts Death in Service Cover
