GSL Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 Nursery Assistants to support a variety of nursery and pre-school settings across Essex. We work with a wide range of friendly and welcoming settings across areas including Chelmsford, Harlow, Brentwood, Maldon, Epping Forest, Colchester, and surrounding locations.
Whether you’re looking for a few days a week, regular supply work, or the opportunity to experience different nursery environments, we can offer flexible opportunities to suit you.

About the Role
As a supply Nursery Assistant, no two days will be the same. You’ll have the opportunity to work in different Early Years settings, supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in safe and engaging environments.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and building positive relationships with young children.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting children within nursery and pre-school settings
* Assisting with play-based learning and creative activities
* Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and communication development
* Assisting with daily routines including snack times and outdoor play
* Working collaboratively with nursery staff and Early Years teams
* Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
* Experience working within nursery, pre-school, or childcare settings
* A warm, energetic, and reliable approach
* Flexibility and confidence adapting to different settings
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for Early Years education
