The role:
As a Development Chemist you will help drive our goals by:
* Working as part of a cross functional team including, Commercial, Supply Chain, Scientists, Operators, Quality, NPI, delivering products linked to business strategy and roadmaps
* Provide support to production groups as necessary to troubleshoot issues and to aid in meeting production/customer commitments
* Focus on continuous improvement, such as process optimisation to improve yields, efficiencies and process safety
* Innovative thinking to develop new products for key strategic markets to support JMs growth and competitiveness
* Carry out laboratory experiments and collect/analyse data to understand reaction chemistry and optimize critical reaction parameters
* Participate in driving projects through the NPI process to ensure robust scale-up and internal governance is adhered to
* Update procedures for existing processes and write procedures for new processes.
