For the successful CNC Programmer our client is offering:
1. Hourly rate of up to £17.50 per hour
2. 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday
3. Permanent position

The role - CNC Programmer:
9. Programming, Setting & Operating CNC Turning machines
10. Use of both Siemens & Fanuc controls
11. Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines.
12. The work is very varied, so lots of variety with the jobs you're working with
13. Develop and write programs for CNC Machines using CAD and Fusion software
14. CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
15. Machining of a variety of materials
16. Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres
17. Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times
18. Online & Offline programming
19. Working to different tolerances
20. Working from engineering drawings
21. Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment
22. Machining own JIGS and fixtures
What our client is looking for in a CNC Programmer:
23. Demonstrate strong experience with CNC Turning
24. Experienced with Fanuc and Siemens controls
25. Experience machining various materials
26. Strong experience with CNC Turning machinery
27. Experience working with 3 & 5 Axis machinery
28. Methodical approach to work
29. Able to work on a variety of projects
