General Manager - Automotive Garage & Service Centre
Location: Burton upon Trent
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Performance Bonus
Our client partner are a well-established, family-owned automotive business opening a brand-new, large-scale garage and service centre in Burton upon Trent. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a new to be developed site, recruiting and building a team and leading the operation from day one.
This role is for someone who wants more than just “running a site”. You will build it, shape it, and grow it.
The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Setting up and launching a multi-bay automotive garage and service centre
* Recruiting, developing and leading the full site team (technicians, service advisors, admin and management)
* Putting the right systems, processes and culture in place from the start
* Driving operational performance, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability
* Managing budgets, KPIs and site performance
* Acting as the senior leader on site, reporting directly to the owners
* Taking the business from infrastructure build to high-performing operation

* Is confident building a team and operation from scratch
