Contract type Permanent Full-time equivalent salary Between £23,556 and £23,751 What skills and experience we're looking for We are seeking a First Aid and Student Support Centre (SSC) Administrator as soon as possible to join our team and provide administrative tasks and first aid support throughout the academy while maintaining a professional, transparent, and consistent demeanour in line with the academy values and ethos. Personal Qualities The successful applicant should have a minimum level of qualifications, including level 2 in Mathematics and English at a minimum C grade [or grade 4] at GCSE. A certification in First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid certification or willingness to complete training within the first three months of the role is desirable. The candidate should be detail-oriented, multitasking, proactive, hardworking, enthusiastic, have a high level of commitment and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. What the school offers its staff Remuneration and Working Time The hours of work required for the role are 37 hours Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday, 08:00- 15:30 term time only (38 weeks). The annual salary for the First Aid and Student Support Centre (SSC) Administrator will be in accordance with the Academy's Support Staff Pay Scale, which for appointment for a full-time post currently involves a salary within Band 2 Point 11 - 16. The minimum actual salary offered will be £19,692.82, pro rata equivalent to point 11 including an allowance for holiday pay. Salaries are reviewed by national negotiation with effect from 1st April each year. Progression through the pay scale is subject to an acceptable annual performance management review process.
