Teaching Assistant - PRU:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit in the Longsight area. This school supports pupils aged 4-11 with SEMH. Team Teach training is essential for this position.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 with challenging behaviour needs
* Communicating with pupils, staff and external agencies to monitor progress
Position Details:
* Location: Longsight
* Position: TA PRU
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Team Teach training is essential for this role
* Previous experience working within a PRU or similar setting
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
