Role Description
1. Oversee the management of customer funds within global safeguarding rules, optimising returns while maintaining adequate liquidity, minimising risk to capital and managing P&L stability.
2. Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with local regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
4. Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.
5. Manage the relationships with our banks and counterparties, ensuring we are negotiating on price while enhancing opportunities for future initiatives.
6. Be part of the team rolling out to new jurisdictions, ensuring Treasury can manage funds efficiently and in line with local regulations.
7. Work with analysts to build and deliver reporting on all Cash & Asset Management activities, reporting on performance to various stakeholders.
8. Work with Product and Engineering teams to deliver the necessary tooling and solution to ensure risks are effectively managed and returns optimised across the portfolio
Role Requirements
9. Experience managing a material asset portfolio
10. Experience of trading and a firm understanding of short term fixed income products (Treasury bills, Money Market Funds, Corporate bonds, Commercial Paper, Repo/Reverse Repo, etc)
11. Experience working within CASS or Safeguarding frameworks or other regulated environments
12. Ability to easily communicate complex ideas (or explain financial instruments) to a range of stakeholders
13. Experience driving the strategic allocation and execution of a HQLA portfolio, utilizing advanced analytical tools to interpret market data and monitor key risk indicators (e.g., Duration, Credit Spreads, Liquidity Metrics)
14. You are comfortable documenting processes, policies and investment mandates
15. Ability to work in an agile, autonomous environment, balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution when needed.
