Role Overview
We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required due to our delivery model.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
* Develop, update, and improve course materials.
* Employ varied learning and teaching methods.
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
* Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
* Work towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
About You
* Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
* Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the broader subject area.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Have experience of accurate reporting and maintain thorough and organised student records.
* Be able to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Have excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Be able to work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commit to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years.
* Have experience designing or developing academic or professional education programmes, or equivalent.
