Primary School EYFS Leader – Havering, London
We are seeking an experienced EYFS primary school teacher or leader to lead our 2‑Form Entry primary school. The role offers the choice to teach Nursery or Reception while performing EYFS leadership responsibilities. It is a permanent, full‑time contract starting September 2026 with opportunities for progression and a salary range of MPS4 – UPS3 (TLR for EYFS Lead up to £12,000). The school has a good OFSTED rating and excellent resources.
As EYFS Lead, you will deliver an outstanding curriculum ensuring all pupils start their learning journey successfully. You will work with the Senior Leadership Team to set the future direction and vision of the school. The school is growing, providing many opportunities for promotion and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the EYFS curriculum to Nursery or Reception.
* Lead the EYFS team and support teachers in early years practice.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop school strategy.
* Oversee assessment, progress monitoring, and high‑quality teaching standards.
* Support staff professional development and attend weekly PPA sessions.
