This is a high-profile healthcare project with a significant impact on the region, and we are seeking an experienced Site Mechanical Supervisor to join the team on site. Location: Cardiff Sector: Leading Multidisciplinary Contractor The Opportunity We’re looking for a driven and experienced Site Mechanical Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering a high profile Project in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading multidisciplinary contractor, taking ownership of site operations and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing * Leading and developing site teams to achieve project targets. * Supervising subcontractors and direct labour to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery. * Driving daily and weekly productivity, identifying and escalating any delays or issues. * Upholding excellent health, safety, and quality standards across the site. * Managing site resources (budgets, equipment, contracts) to deliver value for money. * Acting as a role model for company values, professionalism, and continuous improvement. * Ensuring the site remains organised, safe, and client-ready at all times. What We’re Looking For * Degree in Construction Engineering (or equivalent) with 3 years’ experience in a similar role; OR * 5 years’ experience in a mechanical site supervisory position. * Confident in decision-making and leadership on site. * Excellent communication skills with a strong team ethos. * Knowledge of mechanical engineering statutory procedures and Health & Safety compliance. * Familiarity with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental). Desirable: * Experience within the UK healthcare construction sector. * Knowledge of specialist mechanical equipment and installation.
