Base Pay Range
Residential Team Leader at Urmston House
Salary: £14.17 - £14.74 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week
Shift Times: 20:00-08:00
Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Urmston House, situated in Bristol. Urmston House is a very special 6 bed residential home in Hartcliffe, Bristol, that aims to offer the highest possible standard of care and support to residents within modern, spacious, bright and safe but stimulating surroundings. Recognised as a specialist facility for people with learning disabilities and additional complex needs.

Job Responsibilities
As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:
* Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
* Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
* Report changes in residents’ needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with older people in residential care.
* Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
* Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
