This role will be based within PDM Produce and Bfresh, located on our Staffordshire farm.
Reporting to the Technical Director the role is responsible for Supplier Assurance across the both PDM and B.fresh including the auditing of the supply base.
This will directly contribute to achieving all third party accreditations and customer audits.
You will manage supplier performance, drive Technical and Ethical improvements, and work closely with our growers and suppliers

Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the sites Supplier approval and monitoring process ensuring full compliance with BRC, regulatory, customer, industry and third party/accreditation bodies.
· Conducting supplier audits. This will include regular travel.
· Approval and annual performance review of all suppliers and suppliers of services.
· Annual review of VACCP/TACCP and raw material risk assessments with the Technical Team.
· Creation of raw material micro and chemical schedules
· Raw material micro and chemical non-conformance investigation and close out.
· Reporting micro and chemical exceedances internally and to the customer.
· Support Raw material Quality Manager with review of raw material specifications
· Supplier due diligence compliance.
o SEDEX compliance. Responsible for ensuring all suppliers are linked and shared, completion of SAQ and review of risk assessments.
o FNET Risk assessments
o Maintaining supplier trackers
o Maintaining Food Expert, Audax and customer portals
· Maintaining the sites BRC, third party audits, customer and Ethical compliance.
· Identify and drive Technical and Ethical projects and continuous improvement opportunities across the supply base.
· Member of the internal audit team
· Member of the HACCP Team
· Undertake any other ad hoc duties which may be required from time to time
Person Specification
· Proven Technical experience in supplier approval and monitoring and supplier audits.
· Strong Supplier Assurance experience
· Lead auditor trained
· Working Knowledge of Red Tractor/Global GAP, LEAF and BRC
· Working knowledge of Smeta/GRASP
· HACCP level 3
· Excellent communication skills
· Have a 'can-do' attitude
· Be customer focused
· Commercially aware
