Maintenance Engineer
Goole
£54,000 per annum (inclusive of basic, shift & disturbance allowance) + overtime + excellent benefits
Rotating Shift Pattern
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6am to 6pm
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday - 6am to 6pm | Wednesday, Thursday - 6pm to 6am
Week 3: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 6pm to 6am
Followed by 7 full days off
Responsibilities
* Proactive and preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment, services, and utilities
* Reactive breakdown support to minimise downtime
* Contributing to continual improvement and lean manufacturing projects
* Ownership and development of specific production line maintenance
* Supporting site-wide engineering initiatives during a period of major investment
Experience / Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications with proven manufacturing/industrial experience
* Strong experience maintaining multi‑axis (CNC) manufacturing machinery and extraction plants
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes within an FMCG environment
* Fault finding, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions
* Experience with computerised maintenance management systems
* Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC, Pilz Safety PLC – highly desirable
* Experience in woodworking manufacturing plant and PUWER – desirable
