Overview
Description: £60 million new build commercial science lab and office project. The role will oversee the concrete powerfloat works, which will occur out of normal hours. The contractor plans to work 5pm–5am. The site is a 16,700 m² building.
Responsibilities
* Oversee subcontract labour for concrete powerfloat activities, ensuring work is carried out to project requirements and schedule.
* Coordinate and conduct site inductions for new personnel and subcontractors.
* Monitor health and safety compliance on site and manage related documentation for concrete pours.
* Ensure accurate documentation of concrete pours, including records, reports, and sign-offs as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tier 1/2 background with a proven track record in managing groundworks subcontractors.
* CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
* First Aid certificate.
Project Details
Start date: 11 August for a 4-month period (days/hours: 5pm–5am). This role requires coordinating with subcontractors and maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the concrete pouring operations.
