Audit Manager Role
Job Description
This Audit Manager role requires a strong focus on quality, proactivity, and collaboration. As an Audit Manager, you'll deliver trusted and transparent audits, providing long-term value to clients.
Main Responsibilities
1. Raise risk matters with managers and partners while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
2. Produce clear work for manager and partner review, highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.
3. Identify and understand client needs, suggesting technical solutions and communicating with managers.
4. Engage with senior staff to gain business insight, ensuring efficient audit execution.
5. Monitor progress against actuals, understanding variances with managers.
6. Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members.
7. Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
8. Participate in group, stream, and firm-wide activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Newly Qualified ACA/ICAS or overseas equivalent.
* Educated up to degree level or CTS.
* Experience supervising and coaching junior staff on site.
* Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
* Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
* Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
* Sector experience.
* Experience auditing international groups.
