Reed Education is partnering with a highly regarded and welcoming primary school in the Normanton area of Wakefield (WF6) to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Year 1/2 Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting on 1st June 2026.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who brings presence, passion, and proven experience within Key Stage 1.
You will need to demonstrate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong experience teaching within KS1
* Confident phonics knowledge and delivery (Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds, or similar)
* The ability to plan and teach engaging, well-structured lessons that support all learners
* Adaptability, commitment, and a proactive approach to classroom life
* A desire to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff over the long term
