We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor for an experienced Plant Fitter to join their team. This is a field-based position, working from home with a company van and fuel card provided.

The role involves the maintenance and repair of a range of construction plant machinery (up to 30 tonnes), ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair construction plant machinery
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
* Manage workload effectively while working independently
Requirements
* Proven experience working with construction plant equipment
* Experience with Hitachi excavators and similar machinery (including LGVs)
* Good understanding of site procedures
* Able to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
* Strong attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (desirable)

* £35,000 xsngvjr - £50,000 depending on experience
