Job Description: Teacher at Helen Allison School
The Helen Allison School, part of the National Autistic Society, is seeking a passionate and energetic teacher to deliver creative, autism-specific education to pupils aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves working within a transdisciplinary team to plan and implement engaging lessons that meet statutory requirements and cater to the individual needs of each pupil.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering high-quality education tailored to pupils' needs, including practical sensory approaches.
2. Contributing to curriculum planning and development within a collaborative team.
3. Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and educational development to maximize their progress and well-being.
