An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven solicitor to join a thriving and specialist Children & Family Law team with a strong reputation for handling complex and high-profile matters, including radicalisation and non-accidental injury cases.
The team receives regular instructions from Children’s Guardians and is known for providing high-quality legal representation across public and private children law proceedings, as well as developing work in Divorce & Finance.
The Role
You will join a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to excellence, where you will:
* Manage your own diverse caseload of children law matters
* Prepare and conduct family cases including advocacy at court
* Build and maintain a client/Guardian following
* Work both independently and collaboratively within an expert legal team
What they are Looking For
* 2–5 years PQE with experience in public and private children law
* Children Panel accreditation or working towards it
* Strong advocacy experience and confident case management skills
* A commitment to legal aid work and high-quality client service
* Ability to develop new work and build strong relationships
Salary & Working Environment
* Competitive salary dependent upon PQE/Accreditation/Following
* Hybrid working: 2–3 office days per week post-induction (2-week full-time induction period)
* Excellent holiday allowance (23 days + bank holidays)
