The position is multi-disciplinary with a focus on fine art and 3D. The candidate will have a good understanding of the creative industries and a passion for providing students with industry relevant knowledge and experiences. The successful candidate will join our creative team at the WISE campus. Bristol School of Art has an excellent reputation for outstanding creative provision across both campuses. Key Tasks and Responsibilities The candidate should be confident in delivering engaging lessons to level 3 learners. Support students personal and academic growth, whilst fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being, encourages participation and celebrates each student's unique talents. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and motive all students with a range of needs and experiences. A knowledge of the UAL qualifications would be beneficial. We are looking for a lecturer in fine art and 3D. Additional multidisciplinary skills are welcomed. Promote innovation and real-world employability skills. Beneficial Skills & Qualifications Further Education Lecturing experienceBA in a relevant disciplineTeaching qualification is desirable or a willingness to obtain a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. A proven aptitude for teaching and experience of teaching creative subjects. Experience of successful undertaking administrative responsibilities associated with the delivery of learning materials and the assessment of student work. A creative practitioner with a diverse range of traditional and contemporary fine art and 3D knowledge and skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essentialExcellent organisational and administrative skillsComputer literacy and ICT competence.
