Start date: 1st September 2025
Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement
Working hours: Monday Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions are working with a specialist school in Rotherham who are needing a EYFS/Primary Teacher to work in their primary division. You will be teaching students with Autism (ASD) and/or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) in classes of up to 10 at a time. You will also be leading groups of Teaching Assistants as each student has at least 1:1 support in the classroom. The role is to start September 2025 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:
* Previous experience working with children with ASD and/or PDA. This needs to be within the last 2 years, and within a school/residential/social care setting
* EYFS/Primary curriculum experience
* PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* The ability to build rapport with young learners
* The ability to lead a group of specialist Teaching Assistants
