Playroom Day Nursery are looking to recruit a two Early Year Educators apprentices to join their team for an immediate start! Playroom Day Nursery & Pre-school provides a caring, warm, nurturing, safe and friendly learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years (up to 8 years during school holidays). Key responsibilities Set up indoor / outdoor activities e.g. water / sand / blocks Make sure the paper table is kept well resourced Help at dinner times with feeding the children Reading stories at story time Interreacting with children throughout the day Supporting other members of the team Assisting with housekeeping and keeping the nursery tidy Greeting the children when they arrive to the nursery Working hours: To be agreed with the nursery. (S hifts are between 7am-6pm, Monday - Friday) Salary: £7.55 per hour Annual Leave Entitlement: 20 days exc. bank holidays Qualifications Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above are desirable but not essential at the start however, Functional Skills must be achieved by the end of the apprenticeship.
