Responsibilities
:
* Serve as a trusted advisor to European client groups, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to enhance performance and drive growth.
* Provide expert knowledge in HR processes, employment law, talent management, organisational design, and change management.
* Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and coaching, ensuring compliance and fostering positive labour relations across multiple jurisdictions.
* Work closely with HR Centres of Excellence to implement efficient HR processes that cater to local needs while maintaining scalability.
* Lead or participate in HR projects, utilising analytics and industry trends (including AI) to innovate and improve HR practises.
* Offer confidential support to employees, ensuring compliance with employment law and maintaining robust stakeholder relationships.
Talent & Culture Focus
:
* Oversee HR lifecycle processes, including performance reviews, compensation, succession planning, and talent development.
* Identify skills gaps and support leadership capability development through targeted training and development initiatives.
* Leverage HR analytics to generate insights that enhance engagement and inform decision-making.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives, manage action plans from surveys, and provide expert guidance on complex HR and employee relations issues.
Experience and Skills:
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
* Ability to turn business needs into practical HR solutions, manage projects, and work across cultures.
* Good influencing, coaching, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills, with flexibility to travel in Europe.
* Experience in EMEA countries (Italy, France, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium) is a plus.
* CIPD qualification is a plus.
* Solid HR generalist experience in fast-changing, international, or agile organisations.
* Language skills in Italian, German, Dutch, or French are desirable.
* Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and ideally Workday HRIS.
