Corporate Real Estate Lawyer - Real Estate Investments
Heriot Brown is working with a leading European real estate investment fund to appoint a corporate real estate lawyer to its London-based legal team.
The role will involve advising on a broad range of corporate transactions connected to the fund’s pan-European real estate investments. This includes cross-border acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate-wrapped property deals. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, external counsel, and colleagues in the UK and continental Europe, contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal advice on complex, high-value transactions.
Key responsibilities:
* Advise on corporate aspects of real estate transactions, including share purchases, joint ventures and restructurings.
* Support the execution of cross-border deals from initial structuring through to completion.
* Draft and negotiate a range of corporate and transaction-related documentation.
* Provide legal input on corporate governance, risk management and compliance matters.
* Work collaboratively with investment, finance and commercial teams, as well as external advisers.
About you:
* England & Wales qualified solicitor with c.1-3 years’ PQE.
* Strong grounding in corporate transactional work, ideally gained in a leading private practice or in-house environment.
* Experience of, or interest in, corporate-wrapped real estate transactions is highly desirable.
* Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
* Commercial approach with the ability to work effectively across cross-border matters.
