The Role

The post holder is required to provide a full administrative and secretarial service to a multi disciplinary team including the management of information systems and the co-ordination of the clinical referral system.

What we'll need you to bring

1. RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
2. Proficient IT Skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
3. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Excellent time management skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure.
7. Minimum requirement of two years secretarial experience in an equivalent position.

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

It would be great if you also have

8. ECDL or working towards or equivalent
9. Previous experience in health or social care setting
10. Experience of handling sensitive information
11. Proficient in audio typing
12. Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times

This role will be based in NDS - A & C within Udston Hospital

The working pattern for this role Mon - Fri
