Job Description
Our client values her independence and enjoys an active social life, attending church regularly, spending time with family, and tending to her garden. She is looking for a respectful, empathetic female live-in carer who can support her lifestyle and daily needs with kindness and patience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide daily companionship and promote emotional well-being
2. Assist with personal care routines while maintaining the client’s dignity
3. Support with light household tasks, including laundry, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and sorting post
4. Prepare and cook traditional home-style British meals
5. Assist with mobility, including the use of a stairlift and wheelchair where needed
6. Drive the client to appointments, shopping trips, and local events (a car is required)
7. Help with managing prescriptions and ensuring medication is taken correctly (self-administered)
8. Carry out weekly grocery shopping and top-up visits as required
9. Respect household routines, personal preferences, and daily structure
10. Communicate regularly with the care provider and report any concerns
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
11. Previous live-in care experience is highly preferred
12. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
13. Ability to cook traditional British meals from scratch
14. Respectful, discreet, and professional in a home environment
15. Compassionate, organised and attentive to client needs
16. Clear spoken English and excellent communication skills
17. A recent enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Hours & Working Pattern
18. 8–12 hours per day (including morning, lunchtime, dinner, and bedtime support).
19. Two-hour daily break at a mutually agreed time.
20. No regular night-time support required (emergency assistance only).
21. Live-in rotation : Preferred rota of 2 – 4 weeks per care r
