You'll play a pivotal role in integrating, testing, and securing systems and applications, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Engineer within our team, you'll drive innovation and safeguard digital infrastructures by ensuring high-performance, mission-critical systems.
Requirements include understanding of Windows and Linux systems, DevSecOps principles, and experience working within a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of core software tools, methods, and frameworks for reliable integration and deployment is essential. Hands-on experience in cloud architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and system performance optimization is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, develop, and execute software test and integration plans ensuring compliance with specifications.
2. Develop scripts and integrate automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines and broader tool ecosystems.
3. Debug and identify defects across the entire stack, from front-end to back-end databases and middleware.
4. Integrate and deliver large, complex solutions into wider system-of-systems environments.
5. Deploy in Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments, ensuring seamless operation.
6. Work within an agile environment, utilizing Scrum, Sprints, Jira, and Confluence for planning and collaboration.
7. Develop strategies supporting formal product sell-off.
8. Automate testing processes using various frameworks and develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
9. Set up and develop testing environments, including Blue-Green deployment approaches.
10. Debug complex software systems at scale and optimize system performance.
Qualifications or Certifications preferred include ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Testing Specialisms, or ISTQI - Certified Agile Tester.
