Hours of Work: Full-time: 37.5 hours on shifts (some flexibility required)

Job Purpose: To support the management in the day to day running of the facility. Manage the Hone and cutting areas directly. Assist in other areas when necessary.
Outline of Role and Responsibilities
* Ensure the Hone and cutting equipment are ran safely and efficiently
* Ensure general housekeeping and safety of the facility is kept to a high standard
* Coordinate the receiving and dispatch of materials from the facility, ensuring all procedures are followed
* Update Progress system (ERP) with the relevant production information as required
* Ensure the production being carried out is to the production schedule/work to list
* Assist in HSE activities as required
* Assist in the coordination of labour and materials for the facility
* Assist in any continuous improvement plans that are implemented.
* Maintain the Quality standards required and report deviations in quality as required by our procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
A successful candidate shall need to be able to demonstrate that they have the skills and experience to be:
* Can work efficiently and effectively as both part of a team or independently
* Good communication and time management skills
* Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
* Ability to work under pressure, working accurately and with attention to detail
* Accepts responsibility and willing to take on new challenges
* Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated
* Good technical knowledge with the ability to learn new process
Education and Experience:
* Working in an engineering environment, welding and grinding.
* Basic PC skills.
* Ability to handle production and material movement paperwork
* Forklift/counterbalance license.
* Lifting and slinging.
