We are recruiting Immunisation Administrative School Support to support our Immunisation and Vaccination Team in schools and community settings during the Flu Vaccination programme across Sunderland.
The successful candidates will work alongside our team in supporting nurse-led immunisation sessions in schools and community settings. Duties include handling telephone calls from parents/carers, communicating with schools, and collecting and transporting vaccines and equipment.
Employees must follow safety measures in place and undertake a risk assessment.
Main duties of the job
Ideal candidates will have administration experience and be able to perform general admin duties to a high standard. We seek enthusiastic, committed individuals who work well in a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Travel within the region is required, so a driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary.

Job responsibilities
The Immunisation Administrative Support role enables nursing and HCA staff to deliver effective, efficient, and caring services by supporting sessions in primary schools and ensuring high-quality patient service within a safe working environment. Responsibilities include clerical and administration duties related to the Immunisation Service, working collaboratively with the Nursing Immunisation Team, and following policies and procedures.
