Position Summary: We are seeking a customer-focused Store Manager to lead daily store operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with all food safety and alcohol regulations, and achieving sales and profitability goals.
Operations & Sales:
* Oversee all store operations, including opening/closing, stock management, merchandising, and cleanliness.
* Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
* Ensure fresh, baked, and packaged goods are properly displayed and rotated to maintain quality standards.
* Manage alcohol inventory and ensure compliance with state/local licensing laws and ID verification processes.
Inventory & Stock Control:
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage shrinkage.
* Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and inventory reporting.
* Partner with suppliers for replenishment of baked/fresh goods.
Compliance & Safety:
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and alcohol sale laws.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of store areas, including food prep zones.
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Proven experience (3+ years) in retail or convenience store management.
* Experience with perishable goods and/or alcohol retail preferred.
* Must be 21+ years old and eligible to manage alcohol sales per state law.
* Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
* Alcohol Server Certification (as per state requirement).
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
