This leading Top 100 national law firm, highly regarded for this sector, is seeking an experienced Education Partner to step into a pivotal leadership role as State Funded Schools Lead (AMS – Academies & Maintained Schools).
This is a very important strategic senior hire with a strong emphasis on public law and a genuine opportunity to shape and grow a high-profile practice in the state-funded education sector.
The Role
You’ll take a visible leadership position advising academies, MATs, SATs and state schools on complex, high-impact matters. The role spans a broad range of public law and regulatory issues, with scope to influence strategy, clients, and team direction.
Key Experience
* Extensive experience in the state-funded education sector
* Strong expertise in public law as it applies to schools
* Proven capability across areas such as:
* Admissions & appeals
* Governance, complaints & decision-making
* SEND & discrimination
* Safeguarding & pupil discipline
* Investigations & critical incidents
* Judicial review & civil claims
* Registration & inspection
