Account Manager

Location: Manchester

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: up to £36,000 base + Bonus + Company Car

The Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing business in your territory. This is a field-based role where you’ll take full ownership of your client base, develop new opportunities, and help deliver the excellent service Bunzl is known for.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of existing customers and support colleagues with larger accounts
* Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve growth targets
* Monitor sales performance and provide monthly reports on key performance indicators
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client information
* Visit customers regularly to provide quotes, resolve issues, and ensure ongoing satisfaction


What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a commercially-minded individual with a strong track record in sales or account management. You’ll be confident working in a performance-driven environment and able to build strong, long-term customer relationships.


Ideal Candidate Profile

* Proven experience in field sales or account management
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
* Target-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated approach
* Strong organisational and reporting skills
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
