I’m currently working with a highly regarded, independent consultancy based in Harpenden that is looking to appoint a Chartered Project Monitoring Surveyor to support their growing portfolio of lender and investor clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, well-established team with a strong reputation in the market, delivering high-quality project monitoring services across a diverse range of sectors.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive project monitoring services on behalf of funders, banks, and investors, ensuring developments are progressing in line with agreed budgets, programmes, and risk profiles.
Working across multiple projects, you will play a key role in providing clear, concise reporting and professional advice, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as Project Monitoring Surveyor on behalf of lenders and investors
* Reviewing project documentation including development appraisals, programmes, and cost plans
* Undertaking site visits and producing detailed monitoring reports
* Identifying and advising on project risks and mitigation strategies
* Liaising with developers, contractors, and professional teams
* Managing multiple projects across various sectors
About You
* MRICS qualified (essential)
* Proven experience in project monitoring / fund monitoring
* Strong understanding of construction projects from inception through to completion
* Excellent report writing and analytical skills
* Confident, client-facing professional with strong communication skills
* Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple instructions
