Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate all Climatic Chamber Maintenance and Repair work at Environmental Test Facilities Site.
2. Support the lifecycle management of Climatic assets, including replacement planning.
3. Handle refrigerants safely, including recovery, recycling, and recharging systems in compliance with F-Gas and industry regulations.
4. Carry out various Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance tasks to support the site maintenance plan.
5. Deliver planned and preventative maintenance & calibration of Climatic Chambers.
6. Order spares to support continued operation of Climatic Chamber equipment according to schedule and planned activities.
7. Ensure calibration of chambers complies with UKAS 17025 (2017) standards.
Skills and Experience:
1. Recognized Qualification in Refrigeration Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
2. F-Gas Category 1 certification.
3. Experience in a relevant engineering field post formal training, with experience in mechanical, electrical, civil, evaluation environment, or related discipline.
4. Ability to organize and manage Climatic Chamber maintenance tasks and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
5. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from drawings, site plans, and record systems.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Facilities Team:
This role supports operational efficiency by maintaining heating and cooling equipment critical to business processes. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will collaborate with Site Engineering and Trials Delivery Teams within a close-knit team at the expansive 430-acre Bishopton Site.
