This beautiful village hall-based nursery, rated GOOD, offers a family-friendly environment for children and staff alike. The nursery features open and spacious indoor areas, a wonderful outdoor space, and scenic meadows nearby for walks. The setting includes one large hall and two side rooms, operating as a semi-pack away facility. Staff and children enjoy breakfast and tea together, fostering a strong sense of community.
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification and be committed to providing high-quality care and education to young children. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Thursday for 36 hours per week. The nursery is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the nearest train station and offers onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take charge of a key group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
2. Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to support the development of young children.
3. Plan and provide effective care, teaching, and learning experiences.
4. Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children.
5. Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
6. Make accurate and effective use of assessments, reflecting the needs, interests, and developmental stages of each child.
Requirements:
* Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Motivated and passionate about early childhood education.
* Good communication skills.
* Confidence in working with children of all ages.
