This is a full time permanent position, offering hybrid working of 2 days/week in the office.The Credit Control Assistant will be responsible for most tasks within the Credit Control Department, including:Allocating the payments to outstanding invoices on the systemLiaising internally with solicitors and the Accounts Administrator regarding invoices/payment.Banking of cheques and managing the merchant services account.Sending out statements and invoices to clients.Recording all communications made with clients.Managing the outstanding sales balances, ensuring payment of outstanding invoicesSales ledger administration to ensuring client records are up to date.Maintaining the Sterling, US dollar and Euro cashbooks.Financial risk assessment for mew clients, conduct AML checksRegular meetings with the the wider teamPerson Specification:IT literate - confident with new IT systemsExcellent attention to detail, methodical approachExcellent communication skillsA proactive problem solverAble to prioritise workload comfortable working under pressureGood team workerShould have 2 years previous experience in a similar role within professional servicesKnowledge of e-billing platforms desirableA working understanding of VAT rulesThe successful candidate will benefit from a salary of up to £30k, in addition to company benefits such as pension scheme, life assurance, private medical insurance and 25 days holiday.If you have the above skills and experience please apply with your CV to Andrea
