As a member of the Front of House team, our clients, guests and team expect an individual whose appearance and demeanour reflect the high standards of Signature.

Attitude should be one of confidence and professionalism, whilst recognising that guest satisfaction through team member services and performance is what is required to create an authentic experience.

To ensure all guests are received in a #Be Authentic manner and our culture and values are presented every day. To make sure the front of house is efficiently managed to the standards of which Network Rail expect. This role is diverse between front of house and administrate tasks; this will require you to be proactive and efficient in your delivery to create a smooth daily operation.

General:

1. To represent Signature in a proficient, professional and personal manner at all times.
2. To ensure appearance is maintained to our grooming standards.
3. To attend any training sessions requested by the management team.
4. To assist all guests withing Network Rail, Mitie and Signature clients with any reasonable requests.
5. To report any faults or health and safety concerns to the relevant person or department, first point of contact would be the Workplace Manager or Front of House Manager.
6. To comply with Signature standards for absences/ sickness.
7. To work to the Mitie core values.

Guest ServicesReceptionist responsibilities:

14. Being the first point of contact at the Reception desk while always maintaining a professional and helpful attitude.
15. Signing in visitors, delegates and contractors while issuing the health and safety brief.
16. Answering the telephone in a timely manner while using the correct greeting and solving any queries.
17. Booking meeting rooms for our clients.
18. Answering the intercom system and controlling the site gates (site specific)
19. Managing the flow and volume of the onsite car park (site specific)
20. Receiving daily parcel deliveries and ensuring the client is made aware (site specific)
21. Responding to the reception inbox making sure all emails are replied to in a timely manner.
22. Liaising with Mitie Cleaners, Security & Workplace Management to ensure the site is operating smoothly.
23. Updating the weekly visitor spreadsheet and providing monthly visitor figures to the client.
24. Producing the Signature Network Rail newsletter.
25. Replenishing the ticket machine & ensuring it is in full working order (site specific)
26. Conducting the onsite inductions, ensuring the induction registers and visitor passes processed.
27. Keeping the front of house-training packs and documentation up to date.
28. Ensuring the daily delegate spreadsheet is up to date and in working order (site specific)
29. Managing our software (site specific)
30. Weekly stock checks and ordering of required stationary to maintain supplies for the front of house.
31. Elements of travel to relieve other sites if needed.
32. To provide training for new and temporary team members.
33. To provide labour support to ad-hoc out of hours events (site specific)
34. Proactively assisting with any events our clients require support on.
35. Informing Security and Facilities of any faults and accidents.
36. Making sure the front of house is always tidy and presentable.
37. Maintain up to date health and safety posters and folders, with direction from the regional front of house manager.
38. To support emergency evacuation procedures
39. To remain constantly aware of security and report or act upon any suspicious event or person.

To regularly liaise with the building Security and onsite building Manager to ensure we are aware of an issues/risk that may affect the office.
