The Business Development Executive will drive new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients. This role will require a deep understanding of the legal industry, the ability to work collaboratively with legal teams, and the expertise to develop effective business strategies to achieve the firm's business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and cultivate new business opportunities through research and targeted outreachBuild and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, responding to their enquiriesWork collaboratively with lawyers and other business development team members to develop and support proposals and pitches for new business opportunitiesAnalyse and report on market trends and competitors to inform business development strategiesDevelop and maintain marketing materials, including practice area descriptions, partner biographies, and other marketing collateralPlan and execute client events, including seminars, webinars, and other marketing initiativesPrepare directory and ranking submissionsManage and track business development activity and resultsCollaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and high-quality service deliveryQualificationsDegree in law, business, marketing, or a related field2+ years of experience in business development or marketing, preferably within the legal or professional services industryStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience with CRM software, digital marketing tools, and social media platformsExcellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teamsAbility to work independently and in a team environment
