The Role – Claims Handler


What you’ll be doing

* Managing the end‑to‑end claims process, from initial notification and investigation through to fair settlement, in line with policy terms and company guidelines.
* Communicating clearly with customers and other parties, providing updates, resolving queries, and delivering a high standard of service.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal standards, including fraud identification and data protection.
* Liaising with third parties and experts as needed to assess losses and negotiate timely, appropriate settlements.


What we’re looking for

* Robust experience in managing complex cross‑class claims with strong technical and analytical skills.
* Solid knowledge of the insurance market, policy terms and coverage.
* Holding relevant professional qualifications (e.g. Cert CII) or working towards them.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer‑focused approach, and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.


What you'll get

* A salary package of around £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
