Job Overview
Band 3, 22.5 hours per week across a 7‑day rota (8am–8pm, Monday–Sunday, including bank holidays). We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our busy team, providing a professional and effective Reception and clerical service for the Trust’s Outpatients Service. The successful candidate must support the flexibility of the rota and be able to perform clerical duties requiring computer literacy.
Responsibilities
 * Maintain a high level of customer service, accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
 * Receive, administer and direct patients & relatives to appropriate clinic areas in a courteous, efficient and effective manner.
 * Use current patient administration software to input, extract, verify and update patient details.
 * Assist with booking follow‑up activity and ensure timely recording.
 * Support the Outpatient Supervisor and Assistant Directorate Manager in delivering efficient outpatient reception services.
 * Help manage patient medical records and perform physical effort when required.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Good communication and customer service skills.
 * Computer literacy; prior experience with patient administrative systems is desirable.
 * Attention to detail and accuracy.
 * Ability to work as part of a busy team and take initiative.
 * Demonstrated awareness of confidentiality.
