CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a business in Central Southampton, Hampshire to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of management accounting responsibilities within a collaborative finance team.
The role will suit a part-qualified accountant who enjoys hands-on month-end processes, financial analysis and supporting meaningful business decisions. The position is fully office-based and offers excellent exposure across the group.
What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?
Preparing monthly management accounts pack including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and group consolidation with variance commentary.
Completing balance sheet reconciliations including prepayments, accruals and intercompany transactions.
Reconciling occupancy analysis to revenue reporting.
Analysing cost of sales and overheads.
Producing weekly and monthly sales reporting.
Preparing cashflow forecasts and contributing to capital expenditure planning.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:
Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
Previous management accounting experience.
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
