Marketing Executive Duties & Responsibilities Support the implementation of Visit Belfasts marketing and promotional plans, working with the wider Marketing and Communications team. Responsibility for the development, production and distribution of main visitor marketing collateral and materials to inspire visitors to Belfast and Northern Ireland, incorporating Belfasts brand and tone of voice. Manage the design, content creation, copy writing, content editing, proofreading and production of key publications including Belfast City Guide, Main Visitor Guide and other publications as required. Responsibility for the management of Visit Belfasts external design agencies including administration, briefing and delivery of publications and marketing materials within set budgets and timescales. Working with the Visitor Servicing team, responsible for the administration and co-ordination, of the distribution of publications and marketing materials, within set budgets and timescales. Support and work closely with the wider MarComms team in the gathering and generation of promotional content for offline and online marketing platforms, liaising with key partners, sponsors and industry as appropriate. Support the Marketing Manager with the development and delivery of NI, ROI and GB Integrated marketing campaigns. Provide Tourism Outlook updates, evaluations and insights from available data and research to demonstrate marketing value and support plans Support the Commercial & Partnership team to increase income stream, through uptake of advertising and commercial partner opportunities, across Visit Belfasts marketing platforms, to support commercial income generation. Assist in maintaining and updating the Visit Belfast and partner image library, ensuring copyright/ownership rights are observed. Provide support to the Marketing Manager in the management of the campaigns and publications budget, providing regular updates and reconciliation. Assist with maintaining and updating department evaluation reports/schedules and activity reports, to demonstrate progress against KPIs and set objectives. Support the wider MarComms team in the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with Visit Belfasts partners, sponsors and industry members, including Belfast City Council, Tourism Northern Ireland, Tourism Ireland, RTPs. Ensure ongoing comprehensive Belfast and Northern Ireland product and campaign knowledge is fully developed and maintained keeping abreast of all new products, initiatives, developments, events and festivals. Support the promotion and utilisation of the Belfast brand, its essence and values and implement accordingly within all tourism communications and marketing promotions. To undertake other duties as required by the Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager and the Visit Belfast Senior Management Team. To undertake, when necessary, work outside of normal hours. Personal Specification Essential Qualifications Degree level or equivalent in a relevant qualification or 3 years relevant experience in marketing, communications, tourism or related environment. Relevant Experience Minimum 2 years experience of working in a marketing, communications or content creation related discipline. Experience of writing and proof-reading marketing content to a high level of accuracy. Experience developing creative solutions for marketing materials and campaigns. Experience of working with external agencies and stakeholders to deliver high quality of work. Experience assisting with budget management. IT literate and internet competent Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentation decks. Special Aptitudes Excellent attention to detail and impeccable grammar and literacy Design appreciation skills and intuitive. Strong administration, planning, and organisational skills. Ability to work to deadlines and juggle varying workloads. Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative Desirable Qualifications CIM Membership or relevant Post Graduate qualification Relevant Experience Experience working withing the travel and tourism/hospitality related environment. Experience in a publishing environment. Experience of using Word Press or similar CMS. Experience of using Photoshop or similar. Experience using Microsoft 365 and Teams Circumstances Available to work outside normal hours. Willing to travel as required We offer: Attractive pension scheme with a 19.7% employer contribution.
