GARDNER DENVER TRANSPORT provides equipment which efficiently transfers bulk material from road tankers and other vehicles. As global requirements advanced, we started developing into wider applications and now produce equipment for alternative markets including specialised transport, on‑board power systems for operating/powering other equipment, and bespoke electric compressor packages for e‑mobility vehicles. Within our Bradford facility we design, machine, assemble and install our entire Bulk Powder and Liquid Compressor range for road transport vehicles. Providing our customers with the whole product life cycle is number one for us and with our mobile service engineers we offer from concept design, manufacture, installation and aftermarket support.

Service Engineer, Arla Foods Aylesbury

Job Summary
To provide on‑site Service Engineer support for Arla Foods Aylesbury.
Responsibilities
* Inspection and diagnosis of all vehicles and faults in service.
* Fit/assemble components to all vehicle types.
* Carry out product testing in line with test specification requirements.
* Assist other Service Engineers or team members as required.
* Undertake any other duties reasonably required within the scope of the role.
* Work with all members of the Service organization and related supporting activities, ensuring complete, accurate and timely communication that aids the Service Department throughout the organization.
* Work in a clean and tidy manner.
* Administration responsibilities with documentation, Job Sheets, Calibrations and Service Sheets.
* Accurately process parts to keep inventory at 100 %.
* Service van/vehicle provided with the role and company card for fueling.
Basic Qualifications
* Time Served apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent engineering experience or suitable training qualifications will be considered.
* Proven experience in a service, engineering or transport environment.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Confidence and effective communication with team members and customers.
* Diplomatic and proactive problem‑solver.
* Team player in a manufacturing environment.
* Willingness to travel within the UK if required.
* Basic Electrical training.
* Willingness to work overtime as required and to be flexible on start/finish times to suit the customer’s needs.
* Willingness to learn all Gardner Denver products, enabling extra overtime and increased earning potential.
