Our client, a well-established leader in automated storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their growing engineering team, covering the South of the UK from the RG postcode region with occasional national travel.
Duties of a Field Service Engineer with Our Client:
1. Conduct inspections, annual servicing, routine maintenance, and repairs on automated storage systems.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical faults independently.
3. Support system upgrades, including software updates.
4. Assist with the commissioning and installation of new systems at client sites.
5. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
6. Provide technical support and product training to clients.
7. Complete and submit accurate service reports and documentation promptly.
8. Manage travel and schedule efficiently.
9. Develop in-depth knowledge of automated storage products and systems.
10. Represent our client professionally with a friendly and presentable manner.
Details & Benefits of this Field Service Engineer Vacancy:
11. Location: Our client is seeking candidates from the RG Berkshire postcode area, covering the South of the UK with occasional national and international travel (training purposes).
12. Salary: Competitive, discussed at interview, plus an annual discretionary profit-based bonus.
13. Hours: 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with occasional pre-scheduled weekend work.
14. Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays, with an additional day for every 5 years of service.
