An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant to work within the kitchen at Ninewells Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our department. You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the hospital to patients, staff, and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This post includes cleaning equipment and is physically demanding. Previous work in a catering environment is essential.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions, and possess good communication skills. You should also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and cope under pressure. There are two posts available.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

The working hours for this post are 29.6 hours per week, 5 days from 7, to be discussed at interview. Shift times vary between 7 am and 8 pm, with enhancements paid for weekend work.
