Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant (SEND) Location: Newcastle Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, term time only) Salary: £350-400 per day (depending on experience) Looking to start a career where you can genuinely change lives? We’re looking for passionate, motivated individuals to join us as Trainee Teaching Assistants in Newcastle, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). What you’ll be doing: Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and communication difficulties Providing one-to-one or small group support in class, helping pupils engage in learning Building relationships with children based on trust, patience, and consistency Assisting with personal care or emotional support where required Working alongside teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to provide tailored support Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating progress every day Who we’re looking for: We want to hear from people who are ready to start their journey in education, whether you’ve worked with children before or not.
