Support Worker – Benson (Temporary Opportunities)

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Benson, providing one-to-one care and support to a male client with learning disabilities and autism in his own home. This role may involve supporting a client who occasionally exhibits challenging behaviour.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting with daily household routines and personal care tasks
Encouraging independence and building life skills
Supporting the client with social activities, outings, and community engagement
Working one-to-one, providing personalised care in a calm, supportive manner
Addressing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support strategies
What We’re Looking For:
Understanding of Health & Safety and Safeguarding Adults
Previous experience in social care, particularly with individuals with autism and challenging behaviour
Moving and handling training is an advantage
Patience, resilience, and the ability to manage challenging situations
First Aid training is beneficial
