Job Description: Deputy Home Manager (RGN)
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will:
* Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of each resident, monitoring and maintaining these standards.
* Assist with the management of the home’s staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement in staff recruitment and selection.
* Take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
* Lead and facilitate staff and resident meetings, staff training and development activities.
Person Specification
* Nursing qualification and current PIN Number.
* Relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home.
* Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards.
* Working knowledge of legislation and the regulatory framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people.
* Excellent communication and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload.
