Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurses to join our team in Oxford and surrounding areas, providing high-quality care and education to children in early years settings, including nurseries, preschools, and childcare providers. As a Nursery Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, utilising your skills and experience to support the development and learning of babies and young children.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality care and education to children in early years settings, supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Supporting the development and learning of babies and young children, creating engaging and interactive learning experiences
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children to thrive, promoting diversity and equality
Working collaboratively with other practitioners and nursery staff to achieve excellent outcomes, sharing best practices and expertise
Maintaining accurate records and reports on children’s progress and development, using assessment tools and frameworks to inform practice
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, such as a Diploma in Childcare and Education or a Certificate in Early Years Practice
Experience working with babies and young children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities
A caring, reliable, and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for helping children learn, develop, and thrive
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one), ensuring the safety and well-being of children in your care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
